Mestergruppen is looking for a Project Manager for Establishment & Store Development – a broad and operational role responsible for projects related to establishment, renovation, concept, and store development. The role is central to Mestergruppen's continued development and involves close collaboration with both independent retailers and internal functions.

As a Project Manager within Establishment & Store Development, you will be part of a team that plans, leads, and drives everything from smaller assignments to larger projects within establishment, renovation, concept, and store development.

The department works on behalf of both Mestergruppen centrally and our owners – independent retailers across the country – which means many points of contact and close collaboration with owners, landlords, internal functions, and external parties.

You will be based at Mestergruppen's service office in Solna and report to the Head of Establishment & Store Development. The role involves a considerable amount of travel, as you will visit independent retailers across the country based on assignments and needs. A company car is included.

·       Plan, manage, and lead the execution of projects within renovation, concept, and store development.

·       Serve as support in operational-related issues.

·       Assist the Head of Establishment & Store Development in establishment and property-related matters.

·       Ensure that set goals are achieved, both qualitatively and financially.

·       Participate in – and sometimes drive – the development of member services.

·       Further develop and improve working methods, processes, and routines.

For the role, we are looking for someone with extensive experience in retail and/or building trade. The role has no personnel responsibility, but it is important that you, as a project manager, enjoy communicating and leading meetings. Being structured, having good social skills, and understanding the everyday life of the owners are prerequisites for success. We also seek a strong implementation capacity and ability to achieve results.

We believe you have previously worked as a project manager or in a corresponding role with similar tasks. Alternatively, you have been a site/store manager for a larger operation or held regional manager responsibility.

Experience in establishment and property issues is not a requirement, but we would like you to have an overall understanding of these matters after your time as a site/store manager or equivalent. We also assume that you are skilled in operational-related issues and have a good understanding of retail. Experience in both B2C and B2B is a plus.

• Experience from retail and/or building trade, both B2C and B2B.

• Worked as a project manager and/or in a role as a site/store or regional manager.

• Understanding of operational-related issues, store economy, and commercial operations.

• Experience leading meetings and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

• Experience in establishment and/or property-related matters - meritorious

• Responsible for renovations, investments, or lease negotiations – meritorious.

• Good economic knowledge from university education, industry training, or experience.

• Good experience from digital work, and preferably knowledge of design programs such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar.

• Driver's license and ability to travel for work.

• Structured and enjoys working simultaneously on multiple assignments.

• Positive and solution-oriented.
